How to get/pay for Accommodation + rules an regulations 2017/2018:


   GENERAL UNN Accommodation Information 2017/18
This is to inform all students of UNN (Prospective and returning)
to take note of the following important information with regards
to student accommodation for the 2017/18 session:
1. The University has limited spaces for student
accommodation.
2.    The accommodation is allocated on a first come, first serve
basis.
3. First Year and final year students are given high priority
during allocation.
4. First years are allocated 40% of the total accommodation,
final years 30% while others and
special needs are allocated 30%.
5. All Nursing Mothers must apply for accommodation online
and must notify the authorities early.
(You are permitted to stay alone in a room or be two persons in a
room).
6. The following are highly prohibited and will attract eviction
from the hostel:
• Squatting of any kind.
• Late return to the hostel at night.
• Smoking.
• Drinking of Alcohol.
• Stealing.
• Fighting and quarrelling.
• Use of hotplates, electric boiling ring, refrigerator, gas cooker
and so on.
• Use of generator sets.
• Defecating and bathing at undesignated places.
• Pouring of water in undesignated places.
• Defacing of Hostel walls by posting of bills, posters and any
document.
7.    Only students who have specifically met the following will be
qualified for hostel
accommodation:
• Paid all school fees till date.
• Registered all courses online till date.
• Possess the University ID card or have been successfully
captured.
• Possess and use the University student email address.
8. All hostel accommodation invoices are valid for only three
days after generation. (Any student
who fails to pay online within the three day period will forfeit the
allocation).
9. All Rev Sisters are to follow the authorised process for
accommodation.
10. Physically challenged students must also generate invoice
and proceed to make payments.
Please find below the process flow:
1. Log in to the UNN Portal- www.unnportal.unn.edu.ng
2. Enter your username and password (Your username is your
Registration Number for old
students and JAMB registration number for new students).
3. Click on Hostel Allocation.
4. Click on Apply for Bed space (Select Hostel and Room No)
5. Click on Apply.
6. Print the Invoice carrying your RRR number and proceed to
the bank or make payment using
your ATM Card
7. Return to the portal and Click on Hostel Allocation.
8. Click on pay for your hostel and enter your Remita Retrieval
Reference number.
9. Submit and print Receipt.

How to change level

Though this is not for everybody, it is for those that where placedwrongly or for some vital reasons, you can Now change the level/ step down

1. Go to M.I.S (portal section) with a proof of the previous
school fees receipt.
2. You will be attended to by the staff in charge.
OR
1. Use your University e-mail address to send a mail to
ict@unn.edu.ng , indicating the level you are and the level you
see in your profile.
2. The Customer Service after confirmation will treat your
request.
NB: Any student that was asked to step down by the faculty or
department must attach to the mail a signed evidence to the
effect.


How to check your results online:

Go to ICT ( Access Bank building) to purchase your
“Semester Result checking Card”.

 Type in the address bar on your browser and type in the
portal url ( unnportal.unn.edu.ng ) as shown below.

 Press the enter key on your keyboard, the following screen
will appear.
Type in your registration number in the username, then type
in your password. Press the enter key or click on the “Login”
button to see the following screen.


From the menu items on the left, click on “RESULT” to see the
next screen as shown below. Observe the dropdown menu under
“RESULT

Click on “View Result”, the following screen will appear as
shown below.


 Click on “Select Session” to select the session of the result
you want to check.
8. Click on “Select Semester” to select the semester of the
result you want to check.
9. Type in your scratch card pin in the “Scratch Card Pin”
column.
10. Click on “Submit” button. Your semester result will appear as
shown below.

FUNAI admission list is out, first and second batch 2017/2018


FEDERAL UNIVERSITY  NDUFU-ALIKE IKWO.  Has
released 2017/2018 admission sections, the news was made by the registrar.

Read the statement below!

  This is to inform candidates who
scored 180 and above in the Unified
Tertiary Matriculation Examination
(UTME) and applied through Joint
Admissions and Matriculation Board
(JAMB) to study at the Federal
University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo
(FUNAI), Ebonyi State in the 2017/2018
Academic Session, and sat for the
institution’s Post–UTME Screening
Exercise that the first batch of the
provisional admission list is out.

If after checking, and yours was successful, then follow this procedure :

1. STUDENT PORTAL ACCOUNTS
VERIFICATION
Visit the University website “ https://
www.funai.edu.ng/ ”
Click on the link “Portal”
Click on “Click here to verify your
account” to create login details.
Select “student type” then enter
your Jamb Registration number.
Click on submit button to verify
your account
Get the Account Notification slip
bearing your login details with the
JAMB Registration number as the
default username and password.

2, PROFILE DETAILS
i. Change password
Enter your username and password
and click on the Login button.
Click on change password to
change your password.
Enter the default password and
the new password, confirm new
password.
Click change password button.
ii. Fill Profile
Click the profile details menu
Complete the profile and click the
Submit Button
Ensure you Update your Level to
the current Level
Print the Student profile
information page
3, ACCEPTANCE FEE
Click on the link “Generate
Acceptance Invoice” to generate your
payment invoice.
Select the required session and
level of payment.
Print your payment invoice
containing the RRR code and
proceed to any bank for payment.
Alternatively, you can make
payment using the online payment
options with credit/debit cards
such as Verve, Visa, MasterCards

After successful payment in bank,
return to the portal and login with
your account details to print
FUNAI other fees e-receipt with
the RRR code on the invoice.
Proceed to the University ICT
Centre for O’ level, JAMB
verification and collect a clearance
certificate. (Candidates should
obtain Scratch Card from ICT:
WAEC @ N700 & NECO @ ₦500)
Go to your Department for
certificate screening and collect
clearance certificate for payment
of all other approved charges.

4, OTHER FEES PAYMENT PROCESS
Login to the portal with your
username and password
Click on “Generate other fees Invoice ”
to generate your payment invoice
Select the required session and
level for payment
Print your payment invoice
containing the RRR code and
proceed to any bank for payment.
Alternatively, you can make
payment using the online payment
options with credit/debit cards
such as Verve, Visa, MasterCards

After successful payment in bank,
return to the portal and login with
your account details to print FUNAI
other fees e-receipt with the RRR
code on the invoice.
Proceed to the Faculty and obtain
receipts of all the approved fees
Go to the Department and collect
registration materials.
Return all forms/students files to
your Department and Faculty dully
signed.
Proceed to your Department with
your teller of (N 1, 600) and obtain a
voucher Biometric ID Card
registration. (Information about data
capturing will be supplied later)
Proceed to the University Bookshop;
pay and collect the FUNAI
Customized Notebooks (N 1, 500).
Proceed to ICT for final clearance
and obtain your school matric
number

COURSE REGISTRATION
Click the “course registration” menu
and select the “Register Courses”
Select the session and semester
and click the submit
Select your courses for that
semester and click the submit
button,
Print the registered courses.

6. SIGN OUT
Click the close menu, this takes
you back to Login page.

UNIBEN Direct Entry Admission 2017/2018 begins

The University of Benin ( unibest). Direct entry admission screening exercise ha begin, and it will be conducted by     UNIBEN CONSULT NIGERIA LIMITED, this announcement was made by the chief registrar, according to him  he said the exam will take place

on the 21 st of October, 2017 in designated centres within the

Ugbowo Campus of the University. The Screening Exercise shall

be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode . All

candidates are expected to be seated, latest one hour before the

stipulated time for their screening exercise.


This exam Is not for everybody, it is for only  candidates who applied through JAMB for
the 2017/2018 Direct Entry Admission and chose University of

How to apply for uniben direct entry :

 

Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before
starting the application process.

All applications should be made between 8.00am on Monday
9 th October 2017 and Midnight Tuesday 17 th October 2017.

ii, click on student portal

Iii,Click on Register for application at the top left of the display page
to proceed.

Iv,  Enter your Surname exactly as written on the JAMB Registration
slip and your JAMB Registration Number immediately, your ID and
Password will be displayed on the browser.

V. To start the application process, please click on ‘Application
record’, provide all required information and upload your
passport photograph.

Vi .  Uploada RECENT and CLEAR “1×1” COLOUR PASSPORT
PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN JPEG FORMAT
ONLY. Great care should also be taken to follow the specified
formats on the UNIBEN website and portal. NOTE that the
photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted
candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin.
FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH
WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION and failure/forfeiture of
admission.

Vii. To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at
the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay Via Remita” on the top
left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application
fee of  N 2,000:00; (The fee excludes other charges), the
admission screening exercise past questions
for N2000:00 (optional); excluding Services charges with a valid
ATM-Enabled Card from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria

Candidates should go back on-line on 19 th October, 2017 to check
for their specific Day, Venue and Time for the Screening
NOTE that GSM phones and calculators are NOT allowed.
Closing Date:
Application website closes by 17 th October 2017 (i.e. all
applications must be concluded online not later than 17 th October
2017).  Candidates, who pay after the deadline of Midnight

NSUK Post-UTME/DE 2017: Screening, Cut-off Mark And Registration

Nasarawa state university screening form is out. And they inviting the general public that choose Nasarawa state university as their first choice. 

Also  SCORED the REQUIRED MINIMUM OF 170 for JAMB and LOWER CREDIT for Direct Entry (DE) Candidates for 2017/2018 screening exercise.

The Exercise is scheduled to hold by 9:00AM on the dates slated below in the Faculties in which the affected Courses/Programmes are offered.

For Faculties of Law/Arts and Education; the exercise holds on Tuesday, 3rd October, 2017. 

For Faculties of Social Sciences and Natural & Applied Sciences; the exercise holds on Wednesday, 4th October, 2017.

For Faculties of Administration and Agriculture; the exercise holds on Thursday, 5th October, 2017.

Candidates are required to come along with the following :

1. Evidence of payment of 2500 (2000 being screening fee and 500 being bank administrative charges) using REMITA payment platform in any bank. (Note: Candidates are to come along with their RRR Print out from the bank for confirmation). All payment must be done 48 hours before the expected date of screening.

2. writing materials including JAMB calculator.

3. Original UTME/DE Result slip.

All candidates including those for the Faculty of Agriculture are to report at Nasarawa State University Main Campus along Keffi-Akwanga Road, Keffi for the exercise on the stipulated dates indicated above.

2017 NECO results is out, see how to check yours for free

The national examinations council (neco) recently released the awaiting 2017 exam results. 


This delay have affected many candidates that wrote awaiting results in thier jamb form and was unable to upload their results.  

The announcement was made in minna by the Registrar /Chief Executive of NECO, Prof . Charles Uwakwe, he explained the performance of the students from different states, he said 1 , 051 , 472 candidates registered for neco exam. I only 72 per cent credit five subject including composry subjects (maths and English)

ACEONDO 2017/2018 SCREENING EXERCISE (FOR NCE, DEGREE AND DIRECT ENTRY

2017/2018 SCREENING EXERCISE (FOR NCE, DEGREE AND DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES)

The College hereby invites the following categories of candidates for its Post UTME Screening Exercise


Candidates for Degree Programmes: Minimum of 180 marks in UTME.
Candidates for NCE Programmes: Minimum of 150 marks in UTME.
Candidates for Direct Entry (DE): NCE certificate.
NOTE
All candidates referred to above must have made Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, their Institution of First Choice.

Qualified candidates who did not make Adeyemi College of Education their Institution of First Choice can still do so by applying to JAMB for change of institution. (for both Degree andNCE programmes).
Candidates who applied for degree programmes but scored between 150 and 179, and are interested in pursuing the College’s NCE programmes, can also apply. However, they are expected to have changed their institution of first choice to Adeyemi College of Education (NCE) on the JAMB website before applying.

METHOD OF APPLICATION


Candidates are to visit www.aceondo.net to register for the screening exercise after the payment of the sum of N2,000.00 (two thousand naira only), via etranzact or Remita at any commercial bank. You can also pay online using your debit or credit card.

Once payment is confirmed, candidates are to:
2. Fill the online form carefully and correctly as editing is not allowed once the application form is submitted.
3. Upload a clear passport photograph not more than 50kb which must be JPEG or JPG with no eye glasses or veil.
4. Upload your SSCE (WAEC / NECO/ NABTEB) and NCE results where applicable.
5. Ensure that all fields in the form are completely filled.
6. Cross-check your entries properly.
7. Submit your application form.
8. Print out the Post UTME Test Slip

POST UTME APTITUDE TEST
After the online screening exercise, candidates found prima facie qualified will be notified via text messages as well as e-mails, and invited for a CBT Aptitude Test in the College. The printed Post UTME slip would indicate the conditions, date, batch and time of the Aptitude Test.
Candidates are advised to provide personal and active e-mail addresses and phone numbers to which their scores will be sent. The College will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid e-mail addresses and wrong/ non-functional phone numbers.

DEADLINE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF FORM ONLINE
